His record shows that Timothy was born in "Liverpool," Ohio. There was no such place unless it meant the city of East Liverpool, OH or Liverpool Township in Medina County OH. He enlisted for Civil War service as a private in Company C, 103rd Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, August 9, 1862, at Cleveland, Ohio(Cuyahoga County), for a term of 3 years. He resided at the Franklin House in Cleveland. Olccupation: Harness maker. He was promoted to corporal, Jan. 13, 1863, and to sergeant, March 1, 1865. He was mustered out with Company C, June 12, 1865, at Raleigh, North Carolina at the end of the war. His name is on Panel #13 in the Cuyahoga County Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, Public Square, Cleveland, Ohio.
