AUSTIN -- The funeral for Verna Elynor Clark will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel in Austin, with the Rev. William Natzke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
Mrs. Clark, 90, of 205 14th St. S.W., a homemaker, died Tueday (Aug. 6, 1996) at Comforcare Care Center in Austin.
Verna Elynor Salge was born Sept. 11, 1905, in Austin and attended Austin High School. On Aug. 20, 1932, she married Lloyd Clark in Austin. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane Farnsworth of Austin; a son, James of Arden Hills, Minn.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Cashman of St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and four brothers.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
