Son of Lillian M. (Engvall) Edgerton (1896-1982) and Bryant Clinton Edgerton (1898-1985) of Stratford, Conn.

Robert was known as "Bob" to all his family and many many friends.

Married to the lovely Dorothy (Firmender) Edgerton and they had two children: Robert A. Edgerton, Jr. and Donna Beth Edgerton.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Fairfield, Conn.:

His son Robert Jr. and his wife Frances Edgerton and their three children: Kristin, Lindsay, and Robert III of Stratford, Conn.

And his daughter Donna Beth (Edgerton) Milne and her Husband Gordon Milne of Fairfield, Conn.

Grandson of Hannah Jane (Bedford) Edgerton (1873-1963) and Albert Clinton Edgerton (1869-1958) who were married 27 Oct 1896 in New Britain, Conn. and are buried in the Union Cemetery Assn. 23 Temple Court Stratford, Conn.

Bob retired as Vice President from Lawrence Transportation, Inc. of Stratford, Conn.


Bob was 74 years old.

and G Grandson of Maria Susan (Bryant) Edgerton, the daughter of Clarence and Amelia (Spencer) Bryant of Hartford, Conn., who was born April 1848 in Hartford, Conn. and died 2 March 1933 in West Hartford, Conn. and is buried in Fairview Cemetery with her husband Ferry.

GG Grandson of Clinton Dewitt Edgerton and Mary Amelia (Fox) Edgerton of New Hartford, Conn. who were married 4 July 1837 in Canton, Connecticut. Clinton Dewitt was the son of Joshua and Roxanna Edgerton and born 17 April 1814 in upper New York. He died 30 May 1883 in Hartford, Conn.
Mary Amelia was the daughter of Ornan and Nancy (Mills) Fox.
She was born 17 June 1817 in New Boston, Mass. and died 10 Jan 1907 in Hartford, Conn. She and her husband, Clinton Dewitt, are buried in the Old North Cemetery in Hartford, Conn.
