Mrs. Thomas (Ouida Cora) Campbell, 80, of Manhattan died early this morning at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.
She was born Aug. 23, 1888, at Manhattan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wallace Curtis. She attended Heeb's School near Manhattan.
She married Thomas Campbell in Roundup on Dec. 22, 1912. They homesteaded in Musselshell County one mile east of a stage stop called Thirty Mile. In 1933 the couple moved to a ranch near Manhattan to farm. Campbell died Aug. 28, 1965.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Pioneers.
Survivors include two sons, James C. Campbell of Bozeman and Ernest Campbell of Billings; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Beck of Route 1, Manhattan; three sisters, Mrs. Queen Bly, and Mrs. Charles Sales of Bozeman and Mrs. Kate Ballard of Manhattan; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Two daughters, two sons, a sister and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Dahl and Vial Chapel. Burial will be in Meadowview Cemetery at Manhattan.
