Barto Attig, 67, of Queensdale Drive, died Saturday at York Hospital. He was the husband of Caroline E. Royston Attig.
Mr. Attig was born in Shrewsbury, a son of the late Lester and Ruth Lowe Attig. Until the time of his death, he was the executive vice-president in charge of sales at the American Insulator Corp., New Freedom, where he had worked for the past 47 years.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Shrewsbury, and the Elks Lodge, Red Lion.
He is also survived by two sons, Barto L. Attig, Jr., Ogden, Utah and Ronald M. Attig, Minneapolis, Minn., and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the J. J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Second at Franklin Streets, New Freedom, with his pastor, Rev. Gary T. Bilbie officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Rose Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 28 S. Queen St., York, Pa. 17401.
