Pvt. Frank Hotema Jr., died Saturday morning at Camp Hood, Texas [Eight years after its official opening Camp Hood became a permanent installation and was renamed Fort Hood].
He had been in the army since graduation from Goodland Indian School near here in 1942.
The body will be sent here for interment, arrangements being incomplete Saturday afternoon.
Surviving are his parents, two brothers and one sister, one brother Solomon Hotema, being at home on a visit, en route from a naval station in Florida to another in California.
He was a grandson of the elder Solomon Hotema, famous as an Indian preacher.
