HICKMAN, WILLIAM MORRIS - age 65, of 718 Bruce Hickman Rd., New Market, (Piedmont Community), passed away suddenly Friday evening, June 4, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, as a result of a heart attack. He was the son of the late Bruce and Eva Mae Hardin Hickman. Morris was a retired auto body repairman and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors: wife, Betty Jean (Ramsey) Hickman; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Stacie Laney of El Paso, Texas, Jamie and Jim Hicks of New Market; son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Shelley Hickman of New Market; grandchildren, Kristen Moody, Emily and Lyndsey Hickman; brother, Ernest Hickman; sister, Lois Howard, both of New Market. Funeral service Monday, June 7, 1999, 2 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel, Dandridge, with Rev. D.H. Swafford officiating. Interment to follow in Piedmont Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge.
