James Sprott 1868-1933 married 1898 Detroit, Annie Forbes 1862-1936. Andrew Sprott 1863-1937 was the brother of James Sprott. James Sprott was assistant superintendent of Detroit Police. The parents of James and Andrew were Peter Sprott 1804-1873 and Mary Boyd., both buried in Scotland. Peter was Corporal of Horse, 2nd Regiment Life Guards stationed at Windsor Castle. As far as I am aware the "Taggart Sprott" is not related to the above Sprott.
