Lehman J. Hostetler, 81, of Nether Providence and Boca Raton, Fla., was stricken and died Sunday [Nov. 14, 1982] at Metropolitan Hospital, Springfield, PA.
Born in Walnut, Juniata County, Pa., Mr. Hostetler was the son of William and Elizabeth Boyer Hostetler. He lived in Delaware County for the last 12 years.
Mr. Hostetler was employed by the Allied Chemical Co. as a construction engineer for 40 years until his retirement in 1967.
He was a member of the Brookhaven Retirees Club, the Media Men's Club, the Parkside Men's Club, and the Second Presbyterian Church of Aston.
Mr. Hostetler is survived by three sisters, Anna Wiley of Nether Providence, Elizabeth Bloom of Chester, and Gertrude Gallagher of Eddystone.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday [Nov. 17, 1982] from the William S. Bleyler Funeral Home, 500 W. 22nd St., Chester. Burial will be in Chester Rural Cemetery.
Calling hour will be after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Presbyterian Church of Aston, 19014.
