Butch died suddenly at the age of age 63. He is the son of Harold C. and Ellen L.(Carrington) Tebo.

He graduated from Westfield High School in 1964, then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1970. He was part of the 3rd Amphibian Tractor Battalion, 1st Marine Division in Vietnam.

Butch worked for various businesses in Oklahoma City. For 15 years, he was employed as a delivery driver for JVJ Distributing, and most recently, as a warehouseman for Eureka Water Company. He was a member of the Last Frontier Council Boy Scouts of America serving as an assistant scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 91, as a Campmaster for Camp Kickapoo, and a Brotherhood member of Manu Lodge Order of the Arrow. Butch enjoyed nature, being out-of-doors, farming, gardening, assisting others, and keeping busy.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carol (Tryon) Tebo; daughter, Carrie Kuykendall and her companion Jeff Martin of Guthrie, OK; son, Wes, his wife, Kristy, and their children, Nikolas, Dylan, and Kortney Tebo of Moore, OK; brother, Norman Tebo of Worthington, MA; sisters, Martha Kunst, her husband, Richard, Mary Johnson and her companion Ray Reed, aunt, Marion Snyder, and uncle, William Boisseau, all of Westfield MA; and sister-in-law, Audrey Howard, her husband, George, of San Antonio TX; along with 3 nieces, 2 nephews and 15 cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service is planned March 4, 2010, at Camp Kickapoo, Oklahoma City, OK.
