BEASLEY JR., 78, of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of Memphis, retired pulp operator for Garden State Paper Co., died of heart failure Saturday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Munford (Tenn.) Funeral Home with burial in Helen Crigger Cemetery there. Mr. Beasley, the widower of Eunice A. Beasley, leaves a daughter, Dena Louise Clayton of Upland, Calif.; two sons, Virgil A. Beasley III of Mobile, Ala., and Jeffry L. Beasley of Jackson, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
