He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Musselwhite
Mr. Musselwhite was married to Miss Amantha Barker, sister of Mr. J.W. Barker of Lumberton. January 7, 1878, who died January 16, 1901. To this union were born 3 sons and 3 daughters, who survive, viz: French M. of Jessup, Ga., Reuben and H. Shelton of Lumberton, Mrs. W.W. Douglas (Leona), Mrs. H.A. M'White (Lottie), of Savannah, Ga. and Mrs. J.S. Hall (Mattie) Aulanda, Fla.
August 19, 1904, He was married to Miss Fannie Andrews, who survives but who was too ill to attend the funeral, which was conducted at Barkers Methodist church, where he has held his membership from boyhood, by his pastor, Rev. J. B. Thompson.
