CANNAVAN – On the 14th instant, from the effects of wounds received at the late battle of Bull Run, CHAS. CANNAVAN, in the 29th year of age.
He died in defence of his country. A Christian, beloved by all who knew him.
The relatives and friends and members of the 88th Regiment P.V. in the city are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the residence of his mother Mrs. Mary Jane Cannavan, No. 239 Jefferson street this day (Monday) at 1 o'clock. To proceed to Vault of St. John's M.E. Church. Third street, below George.
