MYRTLE {COSSEY} JACKSON, 76, of Clayton, died December 8, 1993 at Ada. She was born October 26, 1917 at Stanley to Andrew and Ara Inman Cossey. She was raised in the Bevins Community near Rock Creek. She married Fred Jackson at Clayton in 1935. He preceded her in death. She was a housewife and was of the Assembly of God faith.

She is survived by two sons, Dale Jackson of Clayton and Bobby Jackson of Whitewright, Texas; a daughter, Norma Conley of Little Rock, Arkansas; a sister, Bertha Weems of Clayton; and seven grandchildren.

Services were held December 11 at Lighthouse Cathedral in Clayton with Rev. Phillip Sharp officiating. Burial was at A.L. Stephens Cemetery, under the direction of Clayton Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Travis German, Troy German, Terry German, Kent Cossey, Willie Cossey, and Shane Conley. Honorary pallbearers were Cliff Mallett, Pat Sharp, Mark McIntosh, Frank Conley, Billy Glenn, Charles Alexander, and Arvel Jackson.
