Birth: 1785
Oklahoma, USA
Death: 1839
Yancey County
North Carolina, USA

Sioux Indian, from Oklahoma according to records in the N C archives concerning a "Will" dispute with William Hughes. It is mentioned by family members Jeremiah Hughes was part of the soldiers who helped moved the Cherokee Indiand from NC to Oklahoma. When he returned he had a wife "Two Horse". Mentioned by family members "Two Horse" was visited several time by Sioux family members. Mentioned by family members Jeremiah kept her tied up until after the birth of two children. He was afraid she would run away.

In the old Zion Cemetery a headstone with the marking of J H,and T H confirmed by Stokes Bailey. Some time later the headstone with T H was not found, but by handed down information it still believed "Two Horse" is bured there.
