Leo Glotzbach, 80, father of two Clark County residents, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in New Albany. A lifelong resident of Lanesville, he was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, there. Surviving are five sons, Jim, Jeffersonville, Anthony, Charlestown, Al, Edwardsville, Bernie, New Albany, and Ed, Louisville; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Wiseman and Mrs. Anselm Wiseman, both of Louisville; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Schellenberger, Lanesville; 32 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed at the Mullineaux Funeral Home, New Albany, Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Leo Glotzbach, a lifelong resident of Lanesville, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday at Floyd Memorial Hospital, New Albany. He was 80. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Wiseman and Mrs. Anselm Wiseman, both of Louisville; and five sons, Al Glotzbach, Edwardsville, Anthony Glotzbach, Charlestown, Jim Glotzbach, Jeffersonville, Bernie Glotzbach, New Albany, and Ed Glotzbach, Louisville; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Schellenberger, Lanesville; 32 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Mullineaux Funeral Home, 1217 Spring, New Albany. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary Catholic Church, Lanesville, with burial in the church cemetery. Rosary services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Mullineaux chapel by members of St. Mary's Church.
CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY – 12/18/1963
Leo Glotzbach, 80, died Monday morning in the Floyd County Memorial Hospital following an illness of six months. He was a Harrison County native and resided in Lanesville. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Knights of St. John's. The deceased was a retired farmer. Survivors include five sons, Edmund of Georgetown; Alphonse and Bernard, of New Albany; Anthony of Charlestown and James, of Jeffersonville; two daughters, Cecilia Wiseman and Rosella Wiseman, both of Lanesville; one sister, Agnes Schellenberger, of Lanesville, and 35 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The body was at the Mullineaux Funeral Home, New Albany, where the Rosary was recited Wednesday at 8. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 a.m. by Father Charles Knight at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Lanesville with burial in the church cemetery. Members of the Knights of St. John will serve as pallbearers.
