CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY – 11/08/1944
Mrs. Ida K. Glotzbach, wife of Leopold Glotzbach, passed away at her home near Lanesville Sunday morning at 12:15 o'clock. Death was caused from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Glotzbach was born Dec. 16, 1882 and was 61 years, 10 months and 19 days of age. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine Ringle Stilger and was born and reared in the county. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Lanesville, conducted by the Rev. Clement Nunger. Interment was in the church cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Leopold Glotzbach, five sons and two daughters, Alphonse and Bernard Glotzbach of Edwardsville, Anthony and Celestine Glotzbach of New Albany, Edward Glotzbach of Georgetown, Mrs. Cecelia Wiseman of Louisville, Mrs. Rosella Wiseman of Virginia Beach, Va., one brother Leo Stilger of Georgetown, and four sisters, Mrs. Rosena Weisenberger of Fowler, Mrs. Louise Day of Corydon, Mrs. Margaret Schmelz and Sister Eustasia of Indianapolis.
