Family History:

After being born in Indiana in 1854, by the 1860 Census, Frank's family had moved to Clay, Lafayette, Missouri. Frank was 6. The 1870 Census found Frank, age 16, and his family living in Georgia, Jasper, Missouri. Frank was a farmhand, presumably on the family farm. In 1876, at age 22, he married Clara Atkins in Illinois. The 1880 Census found them living in Center, Greene Co., Missouri with Frank's parents and his occupation is painter. By about 1887 he and Clara had divorced, and in 1884-1885 Frank married Ada Walser. The 1910 Census found Frank and Ada living 1528 Van Buren St., Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois with his brother Eugene's family. Frank's occupation is listed as architect, on his own account. By 1926, Frank was living in Los Angeles Co., California when he married Ida Glanzer in Hollywood. He was 72. In the 1930 Census, he and Ida are living in Los Angeles and his occupation is artist in an art studio. He died 30 March 1940 at age 86 in his home at 728 S. Union St., Los Angeles, California from a heart attack and was cremated. His ashes were buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Upper Alton, Madison Co., Illinois with his parents.
