James A. "Jamie" Dungy
Birth: Jan. 6, 1987
Montgomery County
Pennsylvania, USA
Death: Dec. 22, 2005
Lutz
Hillsborough County
Florida, USA

James "Jamie" Dungy, eldest son of former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy and wife Lauren, departed this life unexpectedly December 22, 2005.

Jamie was a 2005 graduate of North Central High School in Indianapolis and, at the time of his passing, was attending Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, where he had been pursuing a degree in criminal justice.

As a Christian, with values and a true faith in God, he was involved in several church groups at Idlewild Baptist Church (Tampa), including the church's summer vacation Bible school and the prison crusade ministries. Jamie never had a problem with stopping wherever he might be to bow his head in prayer for anyone in need.

He was the second-oldest of five children and is also survived by his older sister, Tiara, and younger brothers Eric and Jordan, and sister, Jade.
