William Owen, son of Aaron and Mariam (Stanton) Lancaster, married 10 August 1834 to Olive Ruddick. They were very active in the Driftwood MM in Jackson Co, IN. William and Richard Cox platted out the community of New Farmington. William and Olive moved to Boone County, IN, and then in covered wagons to Marshall County, IA, where they were active in the Bangor MM, serving as elders for many years. Olive continued to run the farm after William died on Christmas eve of 1876.
