| Birth: | May 6, 1927 | | Death: | Dec. 9, 2004 |  A gathering will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, in Country Bill's Restaurant for Edward Peter Flink, who died Nov. 30 at age 77. Mr. Flink was born May 6, 1927, in Richerdton, N.D., and was raised in Independence. He moved to Portland as a young man and owned Flink Excavating, a sewer excavation service. In the mid 1960s, he married Tillie Figueira Wardrip; she died in 1999.
Survivors include his stepdaughters, Patricia Sheets and Deborah Baggs; sisters, Pauline Evans, Hilda Langston and Eleanora Steel; brothers, George, Joe and Emil; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Remembrances to the Alzheimer's Association. Mr. Flink donated his body to Oregon Health & Sciences University for medical research.
