Angela Gilstrap Childress, 49, of 136 Peachtree Lane, Seneca, SC passed from this life Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at her home. Angela was born in Pickens, a daughter of Alton D. and Dot Holcombe Gilstrap. She was a graduate of Pickens High School Class of 1979 and Tri-County Technical College with an Associate's degree in industrial engineering. Angela was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her parents is her companion of 5 years, Ronnie Worley, Jr. of the home, son Shawn Lee Griffin of Pickens, step-children Matthew and Nichole Childress and Ronnie Lee Worley, sister Glenda Snyder of Easley, a step-grandchild Monica, her niece Stephanie Snyder and her grandfather James R. Rochester of Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 PM Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Cove Creek Baptist Church with The Reverend Don Alexander officiating.
