Former Resident Dies
Mrs. Emma Elmore, 90, widow of Warner T. Elmore, and former resident of Remington for many years, died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Pythian Home in Lafayette, where she had been for over a year. She is survived by one son, Blanchard of Lafayette.
Funeral services were conducted from the Howard Funeral chapel on Thursday. Burial was made in the Remington cemetery.

Mrs. Emma F. Elmore
Funeral services were held in the Howard Funeral Chapel on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock for Mrs. Emmma F. Elmore, 90, who died at the State Pythian Home on South Eighteenth street in Lafayette, following a few days illness. She was the widow of the late Warner T. Elmore, and had been a resident of Remington for over fifty years.
Born at Naperville, Illinois, she was married on October 1, 1874, her husband precededing her in death in 1937.
She is survived by one son, Louis B. Elmore, Lafayette and one sister, Mrs. Fred Love of Lawrence, Kansas.
Mrs. Elmore was a well-known resident of this community where years ago her husband was engaged in the restaurant business and her son was in the automobile business, having the agency for the Hupmobile at the time the garage on the corner near the residnece of George L. Hascall, was built.
She was a devoted member to the Pentecost church and many meetings of the members were held in her home.
Mrs. Elmore had been a resident of the Pythian Home since November 945.
