CHARLES E. BRINING, well known local horse owner and trainer, died Tuesday night in Ohio.
The 59-year-old man, who lived at 24 South Cannon Avenue, died of heart trouble.
Death came suddenly at 9:30 Tuesday evening at City Hospital in East Liverpool, Ohio.
At the time of his death, Brining's horses were stalled at Waterford Park, Chester, W. Va.
For many years he had horses which ran at the Hagerstown race track and at Charles Town.
He was a son of the late William and Katie (Rudy) Brining and was born at Beaver Creek. He was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are: wife, Mrs. Mary (Martz) Brining; daughter, Mrs. Samuel Jacques of Smithsburg; one grandson; sisters, Mrs. Lula Clopper of Hagerstown, Mrs. Samuel Hershberger of Hagerstown, Mrs. Nelson Weaver of Sharpsburg; brothers, Hubert and Harry, both of Beaver Creek, Lloyd and Guy, both of Hagerstown.
The body was taken to the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro where services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Dr. William M. Norment with burial in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
