Inscription:
William M. Tribble, who was born April 29, 1834 and departed this life January 10, 1867, aged 32 Years, 8 months and 11 days. Leaving a wife and 3 little daughters with many friends to mourn his loss.

He was a pious member of the Baptist Church of Little River for 16 years and died in full fellowship with the same.
 
Note: Fought with Orr's Rifles in the Civil War.
