Lutesville--Columbus M. Robins, 76 years old, died at the home of his son, Lyman Robins of Bessville, Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church in Glen Allen at 2 on Tuesday, conducted by Rev. Buell Matthews of Marquand. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Robins was born April 6, 1875, in Bollinger County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Robins. A farmer, he had lived with his son since the death of his wife 18 months ago.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Belvia Cheek and Mrs. Della Rhodes of Bessville, and Mrs. Norma Campbell of Delta; two sons, Lyman of Bessville, and Lynes of Memphis; 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Baker Funeral Home in Lutesville.
