JOHN H. LENTZ, 90, SUCCUMBS NEAR HAMLIN
John H. Lentz, widely known retired farmer in the Hamlin region, died last evening at his residence, one mile north of Hamlin, of complications after an illness of six-weeks. He was 90 years of age and resided in that region all his life. He was engaged actively in farming throughout his life until his retirement about forty years ago. He was a stalwart member of the Church of the Brethren and was a deacon in that congregation since 1892. His wife preceded him in death about thirty-five years ago.
He is survived by one son, Nathan Lentz, of Myerstown; eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and seven great, great grandchildren.

LENTZ - One mile north of Hamlin, on the 14th inst., John H. Lentz, aged 89 years, 11 months and 3 days. Funeral on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the late residence. Services at Union Meeting House. Interment at adjoining cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend without further notice. Friends may call Wednesday evening, 7 to 9, at the residence.
