Anna Katrina was from the Alendorf/Waldorf/Dollendorf (Eifel region) of Germany near the Belgian border. She married Christian Bovy. She immigrated June 22 1855 into New York on the ship called the Gaston with her husband and children. Settled in Brighton Township, Kenosha County Wisconsin before moving to the Norwood Young America area of Minnesota. Anna Katrina and Christian had at least four children: Ursula Bovy Wirtz, John, Mathias, Michael.
