Godparents were her grandfather John Francis Leonard, grandmother Adelaide Gendreau. Her father Fred served with the 199th Bn, C.E.F. and the 14th Canadian Infantry, and was poisoned by gas August 18, 1917 at Lens. He was invalided back to Canada in 1918.
She married John Godard Wiser from Prescott, Ontario, June 30, 1926 and had a son John. She returned to Montreal, later marrying again.
