Son of Albert Denney and Nellie E. Hugg Denney.
Albert, who resided in Milford, Delaware, served as a Private, 194th Glider Infantry, 17th Airborne Division, U.S. Army during World War II.
He enlisted in the Delaware National Guard on September 16, 1940, prior to the war, in Milford, Delaware. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Electrician and also as Single, without dependents.
Albert was "Killed In Action" in Belgium while serving with the Paratroops. He had served in the Army for four years and two months at the time of his death.
