Son of Samuel Scott and Anna R. Clark Scott.
Samuel, who resided at 226 North Queen Street, Dover, Delaware, served as a Corporal with the 1st Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.
He enlisted in the Army on November 22, 1940, prior to the war, in Dover, Delaware. He was noted as being employed as a painter and also as being Single, without dependents.
He was "Killed In Action" at Beja, Tunisia during the war.
He had served in the Army for two years and six months at the time of his death and was decorated with a Purple Heart.
