Herman A. Henderson 88 of Springdale died July 12, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice.
He was born May 13, 1924 at Augusta, Arkansas to John Michael and Mary Francis Ragland Henderson.
He has been a resident of Springdale since 1974. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a licensed pilot and an avid fisherman. He was employed by General Motors Acceptance Corp for 35 years, serving in the Little Rock, Ft. Smith and Fayetteville offices before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby to whom he was married for 62 years, his parents and seven brothers and sisters.
He is survived by a son Rick and wife Ann and daughter, Beverly Russell. Grandsons Jason and Josh, granddaughters, Kristi and Kelly and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday July 14, 2012 at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Rev. Clark Snow officiating.
Burial will follow at Bluff Cemetery.
A visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. till service time.
