Two army officers and three aviation cadets were killed at approximately 3 a.m. Wednesday when their twin-engined training ship crashed 12 miles north of Leakey, Texas, during a routine mission.
The dead were listed as follows:
2nd Lt. Robert Lee McReynolds, 24, pilot, of Mangum OK
2nd Lt. John H. Edyvean, 23, navigator, Baltimore
Cadet Don E. Lantz, 21, Brander, OH
Cadet Rollie H. Lesher, 24, Borger, TX
