Robin, a resident of Kenmore, Washington, died suddenly while in Parker, Colorado visiting a friend.
Although born in 1944 at New York City, New York, Robin graduated from Costa Mesa High School in Costa Mesa, California. The newly built facility first opened for the freshman class in the fall of 1958. The more then eight hundred students were either from nearby Newport Beach or Costa Mesa. The following year, part of the students, including Robin, stayed as sophomores at Costa Mesa, while the others went on to Newport Harbor High. The Costa Mesa students were the first to graduate from Costa Mesa High School as the class of 1962.
Robin was married for a few years, had two sons, then divorced in 1968. From 1975 to 1985, she had a catering service in Southern California, but at the time of her death, she was a self-employed medical transcriptionist.
In her spare time, Robin loved working with flowers, but cooking was her passion. She enjoyed animals and although Shamy, her German Shepherd, died in March of 2005, Robin found great comfort in her cat Mitties.
Robin was survived by her sons and two beautiful grandchildren.
