Tommy Ray Hazelwood, 60, of Copperas Cove, died Friday, May 10, 2013, in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Kempner, TX. Burial will be in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Tommy Ray was born in Daviess County, Kentucky, to Louis and Beulah Evelyn (Conkright) Hazelwood. Tommy proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his sons, Bradley Hazelwood, of Copperas Cove, and Robert Hazelwood, of Palestin; daughters, Carrie Nash, of Rancho Cordova, CA, and Jennifer Hazelwood, of Kenduskeag ME; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 12 brothers and sisters; many other relatives and numerous friends.
