Brandy Sue Mertz, 38, of Rossville, died at 2:54 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at her home.
Brandy was born June 23, 1973, in Danville, the daughter of Allen and Susan Edwards Mertz.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothy Mae French.
Brandy was a lifetime resident of Rossville and was employed as an account technician at Genpact in Danville.
She was a graduate of Rossville High School, Class of 1991, and a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church, Danville, VFW Ladies Auxiliary 728 and Rossville American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed genealogy, donating money to the Children International organization and was attending college to become a paralegal. She loved her pets Willow, Bella and Dylan.
