Son of Ralph Emmett Eisert (1895–1976) & Ethel M. Eisert (1893–1980).
Ralph served as a 2nd Lt. and Pilot of a P-51B, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
He resided in Erie County, New York prior to the war.
He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on February 25, 1943 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He was noted as being Single, without dependents.
Ralph died in the "Line of Duty" of a non-battle related incident during the war.

P-51B "Shoo Shoo Baby". "Shoo Shoo Baby" flown by Lt. John C. Howell of the 364th Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force. Squadron code C5-L. P-51B-10-NA S/N 42-106447. While being piloted by Lt. Ralph E. Eisert this aircraft collided with another P-51B being flown by Lt. Robert R. Hoffman. Both men were killed.
