Homer C. SANER, 79, Rt. 1, Akron, died Tuesday at 7 a.m. at his home.
He had been ill since 1953. He was born June 10, 1903, in Catabwa, Wis., to Lloyd F. and Martha Ellen SWICK SANER.
He lived in the Akron community most of his life. He married Ferrell SCHINDLER Aug., 1926. She died in June 1976. He was a retired, self-employed well driller.
Surviving are five sons, Loyd, Charles and Roy [SANER], all of Akron; Robert [SANER], Rochester, and Fred [SANER], Silver Lake; sixteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. A grandson preceded in death.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Akron, with the Rev. James MALBONE officiating. Burial will be at the Silver Creek Cemetery, Akron. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday.
