Margaret C. Karns
Mrs. Margaret C. KARNS, 54, R.R. 2, Rochester, died of generalized carcinoma at 3:30 a.m. today at Woodlawn hospital, where she was admitted late Thursday afternoon. She had been in failing health for seven months.
Born Feb. 22, 1913 in Lancaster, O., she was the daughter of Roscoe A. and Margaret ECKERT COLLINS. She had lived in Rochester since 1948, moving here from Lancaster. She was married Oct. 13, 1934 in Greenup, Ky., to H. Don KARNS, who survives. She was a member of Grace Methodist church.
Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. (Kay) SANER, R.R. 5, Rochester; a granddaughter, Roberta Jean SANER; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Gertrude) WARD, Felton, Cal., and Mrs. Adam (Dorothy) NASH, Logan, O.; a brother, O. E. COLLINS, Cincinnati, O., and nieces and nephews.
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. Allan BYRNE officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
