Mr. Keith was an appraiser for an insurance company. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II in The European Theater. He was a two time world champion hydroplane boat racer and the first person to win two consecutive titles.
He owned Kansas City BSA motorcycle dealership in Kansas City MO and was employed in the automotive field for 50 years.
Mr. Keith lived in Harrionville MO for 17 1/2 years.
Preceding him in death were his parents; Herman F. & Edna Nora (Draelants) Keith; a sister, Wanda R. Sims; and two brothers, Hershal W. Keith and Warren Glen Keith.
Survivers are: One son, and five daughters; one brother; 21 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Services were Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon MO. Burial was in the Eldon City Cemetery under the dircetion of the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, MO. Memorial may be made in care of the family.
