Orson Boutwell was the son of Enos E. and Nettie Bootwell of Caldwell Co. MO, who are buried in New York Cem. in Caldwell County. He married Ada Brandt in 1895, also of Caldwell. The family resided for many years at Columbia MO. A son (Clarence) and three daughters (Beulah, Dorothy, Grace) all attended Columbia High School, and their photos are online in the High School yearbooks.
Orson's obituary in the Columbia Daily Tribune reports that his brother Glen W. Boutwell of Hamilton MO and his sister Etta Bryant of Kansas City attended the funeral.
