John H. Parker a former singer with a Salina group, "The Dinks" and later with a California group, Andromeda. He died of cancer November 7, 1970, at Olive View hospital in Pacoima, California.

He was the son of Maryland Parker and the late John H. Parker.

The Devastating Dinks were a popular Salina band playing for many high school activities such as Club Cherokee, Homecoming, in the 1960's.
