Charles W. Yokley served as a Colonel in the United States Army.

He was originally from Baileyton, Tennessee.
He lost his first wife Helen Bach to tuberculosis in 1921 when their son, James Marion Yokley, was only four years old.
He married Anna Mae Russell in 1923, and they had a son in 1926, who is still living.
He lost his first son, James Marion Yokley, in 1937 in an automobile accident.
He has two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all still living.
His last place of residence was in Washington, DC.
