Services for Kraig T. Kueteman, 36, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home. A private burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Kueteman died from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was a native of Oklahoma City and a commercial electrician. Survivors include his wife, Karen; two sons, Karl and Kurt, both of the home; two daughters, Kristin and Katryn, both of the home; a brother, K.B., Houston; a sister, Mrs. Kara Roewe, San Clemente, Calif., and his mother, Mrs. Herman Kueteman, Oklahoma City.
Note: Kraig had been drinking at a bar that evening and passed out while driving home, the old Chevy pickup ran off the road into some discarded concrete anchor blocks and overturned, ejecting him. This happened on May Ave, a half a mile north of Danforth Road. A neighbor, Mr. Wishon came upon the accident scene while driving home and contacted the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The OHP officer had to wake up the Edmond Postmaster in order to locate Kraig's family, living on a farm northwest of Edmond. The family learned of Kraig's death about 3am the next morning, 6 hours after the accident occurred.
A light snowfall fell that morning.
