This little Girl was killed in the derailment/head-on collision of the Southern railroad passenger train ''the Ponce De Leon'' and the ''Royal Palm'' at Rockmart, Georgia on Sunday December 23, 1926 at approximately 6:40 P.M. She was a resident of Detroit, Michigan and was returning home with her Mother when the accident happened.Both were seated in the Dining car at the time that this took place.She was transported to Cedartown,Georgia where after undergoing surgery, she died due to injuries sustained in the accident.The D.I.Roberts Funeral Home shipped her body to New York City on December 23,1926. The maiden name of her Mother was Elsie Jozja? and Father S. Williams who resided at number 226 East 124th. street New York City New York.
