Son of Tavener Branham and Elizabeth [Burbridge] Branham. Married @1800 to his first wife, Elizabeth Herndon (1777-1813), whereupon they left Virginia and moved to Scott County, Kentucky. Over the next dozen years, he became the father of 10 children......
