Katie has touched many people in her life with her infectious smile and positive attitude. She brought joy to everyone she met and lit up every room she entered. Her life was a celebration and she lived every moment of it like it was her last. She was wise beyond her years and knew that true happiness was not measured by what you have, but the lives that you positively affect. She had a deep devotion to God and family. Her dreams and passion were dance and she spent her life spreading that passion to young kids through her life as Dance Company Manager, Instructor, and Choreographer at The School of Performing Arts in Naperville, IL. She was also a dancer with Hip Hop ConnXions and the Chicago Dance Theatre. Her passion and legacy is evident by the hundreds of messages posted to her facebook page "In loving memory of Katie Lunn" by her friends, students, and family. Katie loved her family and friends deeply. She loved spending time with them being active, she would not let people watch TV, you played cards, games, lived and laughed with her. Katie is survived by her parents Jerry and Julie Lunn; her sister Jessica Lunn and soon to be brother-in-law Joe Vonsak; her brother Mitch Lunn, his wife Jamie; and her niece Cambree and nephew McKade; her grandparents Frank and Connie Lunn and Irene Porter; and her aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Glen Porter. She would want everyone who reads this to follow their dreams, don't just talk about them, fulfill them. And never forget to "Pay it Forward".
