Palemon Melvin Nason (later changed to Melvin Palemon) was born in New Hampshire on March 14, 1838. He was the last of eleven children by Ephriam Nason (11/19/1792 - 10/16/1875) and Sally Wolcott (4/7/1800 - 9/21/1873). He married Elen or Ellen Linscott on April 25, 1861. They had five children. Orra E Nason Emory (4/8/1862 - 4/23/1891), Clara F. Nason (4/21/1863 - ?), Fred Milton Nason (8/21/1869 - 5/14/1948), Leslie W. Nason (2/25/1871 - 10/13/1902), Frank Herbert Nason (Herb) (12/14/1873 - 3/14/1961). They moved to Box Butte County, Nebraska in ? where they lived out the remainder of their lives.
