Mary P. Adams-Inch, 88, of Springbrook Apts, Pulaski, died August 16, 2007. She was born February 3, 1919, in Syracuse to Peter and Garifilia Vanase Poreotis, originally from Greece. She married William H. Adams Sr. in 1939, and together they resided in Syracuse and Sandy Pond until his death in 1990. In 1992 she married Harvey Inch and resided in Fulton until his death in 1999. She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, James J. of Syracuse, Peter and Vickie of Harrisonburg, VA, Mark and Linda of Arlington, VA, and Thomas and Maureen of Vernon, NY; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara and Mark Boyle of Henderson, NY, Mary M. VanDuyne and companion William H. Schneider of Rochester, NY, and Veronica and Anthony Giarratano of Charlotte, NC; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a sister, Bessie Heinrich of Syracuse; and a brother, Peter Poreotis of Florida. A son, William; a daughter, Margaret Mary; and a sister, Fatina Ogden, predeceased her. Calling hours will be 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, at Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 300 Valley Drive Syracuse, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 22. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Literacy Volunteers of Greater Syracuse, 2111 South Salina Street, P.O. Box 27, Syracuse, New york 13206.
