Old Town Cemetery;
"Two stones are still to be seen : one a freestone, the other a common granite; one marks the grave of Sarah, wife of Richard Osborn, Esq., ........Mrs. Osborn's is the oldest stone now standing in town." i.e. 1878.

"Sarah Andrews Osborn was buried at Old Town Cemetery.
No gravestones exist for that cemetery, just a modern-day monument.

The Burying Yard, alias; Old Town Cemetery, contains a monument listing 40 people who were buried in this cemetery between 1708 and about 1760. No original stones still stand. Inscribed on the stone monument in the Burying Yard:
Ye burying Yard. Lay'd out ye Nov. 25. 1708
by the first Settlers of the Town of Ridgefield.
